Western Decay is a thrashing melodic death metal band from Brisbane with a penchant for cock jokes and a thirst for beer. The 5 piece formed in late 2005 and has since been performing regular shows across a variety of scenes, appearing at the 2006 4ZzZ FM Market Day, Brute Force Festival in Sydney, and embarking on a brief but successful tour of North Queensland with friends Art Vandelay and Ryu Vs Ken.
To date the band has released a 4 track demo which is now sold out. A split EP with Naked Burn and Infinite Thought Process has been recorded and will be released on Skull And Bones Records in January/February. Currently Western Decay is writing for an EP due for release in early 2007 with Australia-wide touring to follow.
