Started in mid 2003 by Mike Gemzik, Pauli Hirvonen and Chris Dumble. A demo was recorded and released into the metal and hard core scene. Positive feedback and high reviews like“this new band on the scene are quickley going to make a name for themselves”{Beowolf Productions U.S.A} and “this group would make bands like Hatebreed and Shadows Fall just give up” (U.S reveiws) came back from all over the world. The demo received airplay on Brisbane and Adelaide radio stations and was voted best demo by Ward69Records in 2004..........and all this before their first show.
Beijing tank acquired the bass playing talents of Matt Schiffke and played their first show in early April 2004. In only a short time since then Beijing Tank have climbed the ranks fucking fast. They have supported bands like Austria’s Pungent Stench and Melbourne’s Alarum, have been added to the next overcranked festival line up and had interest from U.S lables..The new E.P entitled "no bodies knows" is in stores through ward 69 records and mgm distrobution.
