Brought together in late 2005 by Jamie Ferguson, Chris Arthur and Mathew Cosgrove, they strived to challenge themselves everyday and have consequently won over many fans with their unique style. After joining forces with Mikey Carter (Sausage Chopper) and Justin Pascoe on drums in 2006, Severed Link's complete line up was solidified bringing about a band that will impress people for many years to come.
"As long as Severed Link are playing shows and recording, the true passion of Pantera will never die. Instead, it will be tributed in such a way that it will see to the genre's agelessness" noted Michael Simms of Undertow Press.
Severed Link are hitting the studious in february to release their debut EP, which should be out in mid 2007. So keep an eye out. The EP will follow a tour around the country and will involve lots of beer, hangovers and metal.
