For further information visit translink.com.au TaxiThe is only a short cab ride (about $8.00) from the city. Leave your car in the city and grab a cab directly to the Showgrounds. Brisbane City Council will enforce all parking regulations and issue fines for illegally parked vehicles. Illegal parking can include parking in a loading zone, clearway, bus stop, footpath, “No Stopping” areas or on a solid yellow line. Unless a sign or meter states otherwise, there is also a two-hour parking limit in the Brisbane Central Traffic Area (which includes the area around the RNA Showgrounds) between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and 7am to 12 noon Saturday.
